Professor Lawal Bilbis
Professor Lawal Suleman Bilbis obtained a PhD in Biological Chemistry from the University of Essex, Colchester in 1992, and rose to become a Professor of Biochemistry in 2002 at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS). Professor Bilbis was Head, Department of Biochemistry, Deputy Dean, Dean of Science, Director University Development Office and Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic of UDUS. He was the Pioneer Vice Chancellor of Federal University Birnin Kebbi and was appointed as the Vice chancellor of the University in July 2019.

Professor Attahiru Jega
Professor Attahiru Muhammadu Jega was the chairman of Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) between June 2010 and June 2015, and presided over the preparation and conduct of the country’s successful and widely acclaimed 2011 and 2015 general elections. Before heading INEC, he was vice-chancellor of Bayero University, Kano, a federal university (2005-2010); deputy vice-chancellor of Bayero University (1995-1996); director of the Center for Democratic Research and Training (2000-2004); president of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU (1988-1994); and vice president of the ASUU (1986-1988). Professor Jega obtained his bachelor’s degree (Hon.) in political science from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Nigeria, and a master’s degree and PhD from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, USA.

Dr. Diamond Preye Ogidi
Dr. Diamond Preye Ogidi is the Director of Abdulsalami Abubakar Institute for Peace & Sustainable Development Studies, Minna. She is a professional with over 29 years of experience in higher education and has 10 years of experience in leadership and management positions. She is an expert in peacebuilding, conflict transformation, development, gender and population-related issues. She has undertaken independent consultancies with international organizations in the areas of health communication, family planning, and girl-child education.

Professor Ibrahim Jumare
Professor Ibrahim Jumare was a former Director of the Center for Peace Studies, at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. He is an experienced professor of social and economic history. He holds a BA, MA, and Ph.D. in history and has taught history-related subjects for several decades.
